Hello everyone, and welcome to www.g0ofb.co.uk. Firstly, let me explain the reason for the strange name of this website. You see, I am a radio amateur, and my callsign issued by the Radio Society of Great Britain is G0OFB (I didn't choose it!). So, now that we have that sorted, let me tell you about me.
Well, my name is John and I live in Northamptonshire, UK. I maintain this website for something to do. I can't imagine anyone actually reads it! But, as photo albums of the traditional kind are dying out these days, mine are all on here. What can I tell you about me? Well, I love vehicles and am in the process of restoring my Triumph TR7 for the second time, having done it once already. I also have a Bond Equipe which I restored (never heard of it?) and my main baby is Daffy, my 1963 army truck. Alas Daffy is now for sale. I also play the drums and Hammond Organ now and then, and like radio & electronics. I have recently become the UK agent for Exantas Real Estate, a Cretan company specialising in affordable properties there.
A friend of mine recently said to me "Nice site, but what's it for?". Well, I don't know really! It's just little blog, a collection of stuff about me and I guess my own corner of the internet.
